Mesh Army Knife is free for commercial and non-commercial users, with one exception:
Commercial users should please send me a copy of the finished product
they used Mesh AK for.
You may use and distribute Mesh Army Knife freely, under the following
You use the software at
your own risk. I am not reponsible for any damage, data loss or any
other problems which may occur by the usage of this software. This
software is a private freeware project - so be assured, that I haven't
got much time for the development and serious bugs may occur - even
including data loss. I suggest not to use this software in a productive
environment, or at least to test it thoroughly before using it for a
real project, and make many incremental backups. I have been working
with this tool daily for over three years, and no severe bugs occured,
but such a bug could happen everytime.
- The files may only be
distributed completely, including all the files in this archive.
- If you used Mesh Army
Knife in your project, please show my name in the credits, either "Heiko Achilles" or "email@example.com", under the category "3ds
max plugin programming" or similar. A mail to inform me also would be nice.
- If you use Mesh Army
Knife for a commercial project (including shareware), please send me a
copy of the finished product, or a registration key for shareware. This is not necessary if it is a project which is only sold to less than 10 customers.
- Mesh AK may be freely distributed on any media,
with some exceptions: It mustn't be stored on commercial servers
(servers, which require a fee to be accessed, are only accessible from
within a special provider, by a special dialer etc.). This of course
includes commercial servers, where you have slow or otherwise "crippled" servers for the non-paying downloaders, and a "premium
service" or similar with better servers for paying customers. In that
case, Mesh Army Knife mustn't be stored even on the "free" servers.
Mesh Army Knife may be stored on commercial advertize financed servers,
as long as no advertize programs must be installed on the customers
computer to access the server, there is no advertize free "premium
service" for paying customers, and downloaders are not forced to see
spam for a defined period of time until the download becomes available.
